About our Company
History: The eHealthSupplies.com. concept was planned back in 2003 by former employees of BreathFree.com (1998-2002). eHealthSupplies.com LLC was formed in the fall of 2005 and in the summer of 2006 began selling discount health, medical and survival products online.
eHealthSupplies.com is a privately held company started by wife and husband team, Whanda Brown Madrid and Eric Madrid MD. Whanda has her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health Care Administration and decided to create eHealthSupplies.com in order to have flexibility and time for her children and family. Eric Madrid is a graduate from Ohio State University School of Medicine and practices as a Family Physician in Southern California. Dr. Madrid also does product research for eHealthSupplies.com
Social Responsibilty: eHealthSupplies.com believes in social responsibility and invests a portion of their proceeds into charities and community programs. eHealthSupplies.com sponsors local children's athletic teams in Menifee, Ca., participates as a microloan lender with Kiva.org and are active sponsors for the American Cancer Society. In 2007, Eric Madrid (chairperson) and Whanda Brown Madrid (Sponsorship Chair) helped organize and participated in the 2nd annual Relay for Life in Menifee, CA which raised money for the Amercian Cancer Society. They were also involved in the 3rd Annual Relay which raised over $20,000 for the American Cancer Society. Furthermore, Dr. Madrid, goes to Hinche, Haiti (with other Physicians through the Haiti Endowment Fund) and provides free healthcare and medicines to the impoverished once a year.
